Our Partners

Jagriti Vihara
In India, we have partnered with Jagriti Vihara, a well-respected Indian NGO.  Since 1975 in the northeastern state of Jharkhand in India, Jagriti Vihara has been meeting the varied needs of the rural poor.  Though Jharkhand is rich in mining operations and mineral wealth 70% of the population remains very poor.  Their current programs include educating 1,000 children, providing an environmental awareness program, watershed development, vocational training for women, development of horticulture and agriculture and health and sanitation work. Members of our team have lived and worked with Jagriti Vihara in different years and our collective involvement goes back to summer 2000. The organization has also run a health clinic that will serve as the foundation for the hospital. Jagriti Vihara will oversee the hospital’s construction and daily operation. This partnership will bypass established interests and political squabbles and engage a committed local organization with a proven record of serving the local community.

One World Children's Fund
Hospital for Hope is supported by One World Children's Fund, which networks resources directly to grassroots organizations that serve disadvantaged children around the world: "We recognize that local people know best how to resolve problems in their communities when they have access to resources to build a sustainable future for children and their care givers. We believe that people living in the United States have a profound opportunity to make a difference by collaborating with innovative groups that are investing in the health, dignity and overall well being of children."

Construction for Change
Our hospital design is supported by Construction for Change, which partners with organizations worldwide to provide needed infrastructure for economic, medical, and educational growth in developing communities; giving them the tools to eradicate poverty and improve quality of life for those in need.
